Abstract: In Thailand, knowledge management in construction projects is still in infancy stage. The purpose of this paper is to propose an improving mechanism for knowledge management in Thai construction projects. The study is qualitative in nature and carried out to two case studies with diverse nature of project characteristics. The main findings arisen from site observation and interview. Thereafter, the results are confirmed by making direct focus group with 16 construction managers. Four improving mechanisms as knowledge vision, platforms, knowledge process, and management delegation are suggested for improving the mechanism of knowledge practice in Thai construction project. These are incorporated into the next learning and implementation for future best practices.
