Abstract: This research was quantitative. The purpose was to study the behavior and motivation of Thai and foreign tourists watching Drag Queen shows in Silom, Bangkok. The research tool was a questionnaire, the sample size was 140 people, selected according to Cochran's formula and collected using a multi-stage sampling method including quota sampling and accidental sampling. Statistical analysis used in data analysis is inferential statistics. The results showed that most tourists were females, aged between 20 - 29 years, with a bachelor's degree, the occupation was student, and the average monthly income of Thai tourists was less than or equal to 15,000 baht, while the average monthly income of foreign tourists was less than or equal to 3,000 USD. Statistical analysis of the highest-level behavior showed that 69 people watched a Drag Queen show once, 110 people watched for entertainment, 106 people watched the show with friends, 55 people used the Skytrain and metro for transportation, 69 people had an expenditure per person per visit of less than or equal to 1,000 baht, 72 bought walk-in tickets, and 76 received information from social media. The motivation was at a high level, including self-improvement motivation (xˉ=3.98), personal motivation (xˉ=4.02), emotional needs (xˉ=4.18), tourism for status ( xˉ= 4. 19), cultural motivation ( xˉ= 4. 23) and physical motivation was at the highest level ( xˉ=4.27) which was for the excitement ( xˉ= 4.31). The results showed statistical significance at the 0.05 level, and the comparison of demographic characteristics with motivation revealed that demographic characteristics are another factor influencing the motivation to watch drag queen shows.
