Abstract
Ground reaction force (GRFs) is combined gravity's effect and the body's movement. The sports science and clinicians used the ground reaction force for analyzing individual's walking such as balance of walking, gait phase and abnormal walking. This paper aims to develop a wireless ground reaction force measurement device using minimized number of force sensors. The performance testing of our system, A wireless ground reaction force device have the same direction and magnitude as known on an online database and universal testing machine (UTM). The experiment shows of repeatability, linearity and correlation coefficients have the same direction during the online database and universal testing machine. In the future, we will develop a device that can measure GRFs of a higher magnitude, decrease delay time during transmitting the data to the online database. © 2021 IEEE.
