Abstract
This engineering project focuses on the development and improvement of a portable health kit by redesigning the user interface of the application. The aim is to make the application more user-friendly while ensuring its accuracy and stability. The project objectives include testing the accuracy and completeness of the data recorded in the application when working with an electrocardiogram (ECG) device by conducting a satisfaction survey with a sample group of 15 participants. The current portable health kit has limitations regarding the user interface and functionality of the application. Therefore, this research project proposes ideas for improving the application's functionality, particularly regarding the connection between the ECG device and the application. Additionally, it aims to enhance the user interface design to facilitate easy access and efficient recording and retrieval of health data. Experimental results indicate that the connection success rate between the vital sign monitor and the application was a satisfactory 98.33 percent, ECG accuracy, design success rate of the application interface, and accuracy of historical health data are all satisfactory, achieving a 100% satisfaction rate. Furthermore, the portable health monitoring system was deployed for user satisfaction evaluation, which also showed a 9.67 % satisfaction rate among users.
