Abstract
This study investigated the influencing factors on knowledge-sharing behavior (KSB) in hand-knitting virtual communities (VCs). This study employed a quantitative method by collecting data from 474 respondents through an online questionnaire in China. The data analysis was conducted using structural equation modeling. The research shows that trust, helping others, confidence in oneself, perceived usefulness (PU), and perceived ease of use affect KSB through a sense of virtual community (SOVC) and knowledge-sharing intention (KSI). SOVC and KSI play important roles in this process. PU indirectly affects KSI and KSB through SOVC. PU indirectly affects KSI and KSB through SOVC. This study explored a new way to use Internet technology and VC platforms to help women carry out leisure activities and promote intangible cultural heritage techniques and culture. The study suggested SOVC as a mediating variable and traditional TPB VC construction and development models.
