dc.description.abstractObjective: To construct an index system that can quantitatively evaluate the professional competency of middle school art teachers in China. Methods: Two rounds of consultation were conducted with 16 education or art education experts by Delphi method, and the experts’ suggestions on indicators were collected, and the index system was constructed. Results: The effective recovery rates of the two rounds of correspondence questionnaires were 80% and 100%, respectively; the expert authority coefficient is 0.847; the Kendall harmony coefficient of the expert consultation index in the first round of three-level indicators is 0.405, 0.346 and 0.301, respectively, and the Kendall harmony coefficient of the expert consultation index in the second round of three-level indicators is 0.405, 0.335 and 0.304, respectively. Through two rounds of consultation, the experts’ opinions were in agreement, and finally an evaluation scale was formed with 4 first-level indicators, 11 second-level indicators and 37 third-level indicators. Conclusion: The index system of professional competency evaluation of junior high school art teachers based on the Delphi method is authoritative, scientific and feasible, which provides a certain basis for the construction and evaluation of Chinese art teachers.
