Abstract

After conducting research and gathering data, it has been discovered that the design of proximal holes can enhance the strength and durability of the Proximal Femoral nail. Furthermore, it can reduce the von Misses stress, making it less prone to damage, and extend the lifespan of the product. Additionally, the first version of the product did not include proximal holes, prompting the company to develop a subsequent version that incorporated proximal holes to enhance the durability of the product even further. To achieve this, Autodesk Inventor Professional was used for 3D mechanical design, while Autodesk Inventor Nastran was utilized to analyze and apply mathematical principles to engineering problems, emphasizing material behavior and structure through Finite Element Analysis technology. This method significantly reduced the time and cost of testing product performance.
