โครงงานนี้เป็นการนำเสนอแอพพลิเคชันแผนที่ท่องเที่ยวและการนำทางสำหรับระบบปฏิบัติการแอนดรอยด์ โดยวัตถุประสงค์ของโครงงานคือ การนำเทคโนโลยีในการพัฒนาแอพพลิเคชันของการเขียนโปรแกรมแอนดรอยด์มาใช้ในการสร้างสรรค์แอพพลิเคชันขึ้นมา โดยได้เล็งเห็นความสำคัญของการประหยัดเวลาในการเดินทางและค้นหาสถานที่เพื่อช่วยเพิ่มความสะดวกในการเดินทางซึ่งแอพพลิเคชันแผนที่ท่องเที่ยวและการนำทางสำหรับระบบปฏิบัติการแอนดรอยด์ คือ การทำงานของระบบปฏิบัติการแอนดรอยด์ร่วมกับระบบ google map (แผนที่ของทาง google) โดยระบบปฏิบัติการแอนดรอยด์ในแอพพลิเคชันนี้จะทำหน้าที่บอกข้อมูลของสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวค้นหาสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวที่่ผู้ใช้งานสนใจและแสดงแผนที่นำทางไปยังสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวที่ผู้ใช้งานต้องการโดยผลจากการทดลองใช้งานพบว่า สามารถค้นหาสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวได้เป็นอย่างดีและลดเวลาในการเดินทางเป็นอย่างมาก
