For this paper, we introduce a mathematical model of magnetic response of a two layered earth model which has a constant conductivity in an overburden and a positively skewed bulge conductivity in host medium. The conductivity of ground is a function of depth. Differential and integral equations are applied to for solving a forward problem, and Taylor-series approximation is used to find the solution of the homogeneous differential equation. Numerical solutions are calculated to display the conduct of the magnetic field in graphical forms. The reactions of magnetic field show some points happened as an outcome of the depth and a positively skewed bulge conductivity profile. © 2014 Academic Publications, Ltd.
