โครงงานวิศวกรรมนี้มีวัตถุประสงคเ์พื่อประยกุต์การใช้งานฟังก์ชันของ Asterisk บนระบบโทรศัพท์แบบ VoIP ซึ่งเป็นระบบการติดต่อสื่อสารทางเสียงบนอินเตอร์เน็ต โดยผู้ศึกษาได้เลือกโปรแกรม Asterisk ติดตั้งบนเครื่องเซิร์ฟเวอร์ทำหน้าที่เป็นตู้ IP-PBX ของระบบโทรศัพท์และใช้โปรแกรม X-Lite ซึ่งเป็นโปรแกรม IP Software Phone ติดตั้งบนเครื่อง Client โดยระบบโทรศัพท์ที่ได้ออกแบบมีฟังกชันการทำงาน ได้แก่ ระบบการโทร, ระบบเสียงตอบรับอัตโนมัติ (Interactive
Voice Response), ระบบฝากข้อความเสียง (Voice Mail) และระบบบันทึกการใช้งานโทรศัพท์ (Call Detail Record) ในการติดต่อสื่อสารระหว่างกันโดยผลจาการทดลองระบบโทรศัพท์สามารถทำงานได้ตามฟังกชันที่ได้ออกแบบไว้
This engineering project is intended to apply the asterisk operation function on VoIP phone system which a voice communication via the internet. The asterisk program was installed onto the server computer as a phone booth IP-PBX system and the X-Lite, a IP-software phone, was installed onto client side. The phone system has been designed function for calling system, automatically interactive voice response, voice mail box, calling detail record. The experiment results showed that the phone system could work as designed functions.
