dc.description.abstractQuasinormal modes of Schwarzschild anti-de Sitter black holes with scalar, gravitational, and electromagnetic perturbations are studied. A perturbation method is employed to obtain the solutions, which are hypergeometric functions, and their corresponding quasinormal frequencies are analytically calculated. The results of the frequencies are pure imaginary numbers, which are analyzed and compared to those from various numerical works.
