The aim of this study was to develop and examine the causal model of academic procrastination behavior of college undergraduates using structural equation modeling (SEM). Sample were 611 college undergraduates at one public university in the eastern region of Thailand. The sample was selected by multi-stage random sampling technique. The results revealed that the proposed theoretical model of academic procrastination behavior fitted well with the empirical data by adding the path effect from self-efficacy for self-regulated learning to academic self-efficacy. Results were discussed from relevant theoretical viewpoints and empirical findings for implications. © 2022 Kasetsart University.
