Abstract: The exact formula for the free-energy difference between the superconducting and normal states of a weak-coupling superconductor was derived. The formula considered the variation of temperature, order parameters and the cut-off temperature on the free-energy differences at near zero temperatures. The corrections for the results were obtained and the variation of the free-energy difference with reduced temperature was calculated using algebraic methods.
