Abstract:
This research aims to 1) develop indicators of academic leadership of school
administrators under the Office for the Non-Formal and Informal Education Institution and
2) test the consistency of the academic leadership indicators of the school administrators
Under the Office for the Non- Formal and Informal Education Institution. Developed with
empirical data. There are two phases of conducting research. First phase Develop
indicators of academic leadership of school administrators by analyzing theoretical
documents and Interviews with qualified persons to frame the indicator concept. Outline
the indicator check for content validity. The second phase is Test the consistency of the
academic leadership indicators of the school administrators to the empirical data. The
sample group was school administrators 496 people. The research tool was a
questionnaire. The data was analyzed using a confirmation element analysis. The results
of the research were as follows:
1. Indicators of academic leadership of school administrators for under the Office
for the Non- Formal and Informal Education Institution. It has developed a total of 75
indicators. Include 17 indicators to determine the direction of operation of the school. 22
indicators of curriculum management and teaching. 19 indicators of promoting a learning
atmosphere and 17 indicators of teacher professional development and educational
personnel.
2. Indicators of academic leadership of the school administrators under the Office
for the Non-Formal and Informal Education Institution. The 75 indicators developed were
consistent with empirical data. (Chi-square = 31.18, df = 33, P = 0.557, GFI = 0.99, AGFI =
0.97 and RMSEA = 0.000).
