Abstract:
This research aimed: 1. To investigate the factors of successful livelihood network development, 2. To gain lesson-learnt knowledge forms of network’s sustainable development approaches, and 3. To develop the social innovation of the community livelihood. Qualitative research method was employed to collect data from 60 key informants, purposefully selected from the community livelihood members, and relevant governmental units, by in-depth-interviewing and focus group discussions.
The findings revealed that 1. Factors affecting the success of the livelihood network development were found the knowledge of local wisdom and the knowledge of participatory group administration could support the livelihood network development. There were 4 factors affecting the success of the livelihood network development: communication, creativity, sacrifice, and lesson-learned conclusion. 2. Lesson-learned to upgrade the livelihood network development required the learning of its location, the uses of appropriate technology and innovation, particularly the strong innovative social network, sustainable development, and creative changes. In addition, the drive and extension of the innovative livelihood network toward the policy level also required leadership, participating activities among the networks, as well as the evaluation, to exchange the knowledge of community product development.
