Abstract:
Inventory management is a necessary for raw material control because of disconnection of up to date information, it is difficult for tracking and check the amount of raw materials. From the fact that manual handling, may cause human error, and raw material information in production specification is not up to date which may affect the incorrect customer order, and transmission data delay between two stations affect the
access to up to date raw material information. This project has used system development life cycle (SDLC) process as a tool for designing the proposed application of inventory management information system (MIS) . Include raw material selection system according to production order of a mobile application using QR code. Then test information system and assess efficiency. The results showed that the raw material to be used that more accurate, be able to check and trace raw material selection and raw material information is up to date and less errors occur.
