Abstract:
This engineering project is intended the handover decision by neuro-fuzzy algorithm for wireless communications that are cooperated between the neural networks and the fuzzy logic. The neuro-fuzzy helps the handover decision in wireless communications that are combined the Mobile-WiMAX, WLAN and LTE-A networks. Additionally, the bandwidth of channel, mobile speed and received signal strength indicator requirement metrics are introduced to consider the handover decision by neuro-fuzzy algorithm. The structure of
the neuro-fuzzy using the data measured with these parameters. In the simulation results, the proposed algorithm outperforms compared with the fuzzy logic which are the tradition method as illustrated the number of handovers and the number of blocked calls to decrease by 13.2% and 5% respectively.
