Abstract:
This engineering project aims to study and design an application program for quality checking of water, for use in both household and agricultural purposes. It utilizes an ESP32 microcontroller to detect pH levels, electrical conductivity, turbidity of water, and connects wirelessly to transmit data to a Firebase database and application
program. The collected data is processed to classify water into three categories: 1. Drinking water 2. Agricultural water and 3. Wastewater. The results of the experiments showed that the water sources had varying levels of pH and electrical conductivity. For example water source 1 from a tap water supply had a pH error of 1.782% and electrical conductivity error of 5.746%, while water source 2 from a building engineering area had a pH error of 2.118% and electrical conductivity error of 6.375%. Water source 3 from a temple building area had a pH error of 2.058% and electrical conductivity error of 12.483%.
