Abstract:
This engineering project is to design a home security system that utilizes wireless internet networks to provide residents with notification information. Abnormalities, such as movement detect by the motion detector, intrusion detect by the intrusion detector, smoke or gas detect by the smoke detector, and dust detect by the PM 2.5 detector, can all trigger alert signals through the BLYNK application and application lines. The data from
all three types of detectors are processed by the microcontroller, which employs the local wireless communication network ESP-NOW protocol to send the data to the server. The server then sends the data to the gateway, which uses wireless internet networks to send notifications to the BLYNK application and application lines. In addition to sending notifications, the system can also check the status of the detectors and control the operation of the motion detector through the BLYNK application.
