Abstract:
This project presents fabrication of dual-band switched beam antenna to back lobe reduction for 5G wireless communications. The beam can be switched by shorted circuit both of outside and inside of the antenna, that make the antenna have beam in the direction that has been shorted circuit. Back lobe can be reduced by using parasitic elements, patch etching and shorted circuit outside and inside of the antenna. Therefore,
the antenna can operate at frequencies of 0.836 GHz and 2.533 GHz with the antenna gain of 5.39 dBi and 8.347 dBi, respectively.
