Abstract:
This engineering project has designed a temperature and humidity monitoring system inside the cabinet computer rack. The system includes four temperature devices, each capable of measuring temperature and humidity, installed in the front, left, right, and back positions of the rack. Each device sends temperature and humidity values to a microcontroller via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). The microcontroller then stores the
temperature and humidity values in a cloud network, which can be accessed through a mobile application that displays current data and color-coded temperature levels. The LINE application also includes a notification system that alerts the user when the temperature inside the rack exceeds the set limit and when it is time to clean the rack's heat dissipation fan. Through testing, the microcontroller successfully receives and sends
temperature and humidity values from the temperature devices and stores them in the cloud network. The mobile application displays current temperature and humidity with color-coded temperature levels, and the LINE application sends notifications when the temperature inside the rack exceeds the set limit and when it is time to clean the rack's heat dissipation fan.
