Abstract:
This research has the following objectives: (1) to study the success of the PRAE-WA silk community enterprise in
Phon in the Kham Muang district of the Kalasin province; and (2) to study the factors affecting success of PRAE-WA silk
community enterprise in Phon in the Kham Muang district of the Kalasin province. It was quantitative research and
collected from questionnaires with sample group of 271 members of PRAE-WA silk community enterprise in Phon in the
Kham Muang district of the Kalasin province. The results showed that PRAE-WA silk community enterprise in Phon in the
Kham Muang district of the Kalasin province in terms of overall success and at high level. The aspect with the highest level of success had profits for members, followed by groupings to carry out activities with operational stability, development and improvement of community enterprises and community enterprises can be self-reliant, respectively. The factors that most affect success were marketing, followed by participation, state support, leadership and finance, respectively. The grouping factor did not affect the success of the PRAE-WA silk community enterprise in Phon in the Kham Muang district of the Kalasin province. This research has the suggestions: Office of small and medium enterprise, Kalasin province should formulate strategic plan to promote participation of group members, product development in order to stand out as market demands and lead more profits for members. Office of small and medium enterprise, Kalasin province encourage and support leadership development, marketing, participation, government, financial support and public relations to provide knowledge about operations in various aspects of community enterprise group continuously.
