Abstract:
The purpose of this research was to study the issues surrounding ladyboy conscription. To investigate the impact of a ladyboy's conscription and to propose a solution to the ladyboy's conscription. To collect data, the study used a qualitative methodology that included in-depth interviews with ten participants. The findings revealed that (1) problems in the conscription of ladyboys, consisting of early life conditions of ladyboys, problems in the process of starting Conscription service for ladyboys, such as information perception, obtaining a medical certificate, and problems in the conscription of ladyboys, such as sexual harassment bullying, physical examination, and selection standards. (2) The impact of a ladyboy's conscription includes society and media coverage of ladyboy conscription, budget impact, time impact, and mental health of Conscription ladyboys. (3) Proposed guidelines for resolving the problem of ladyboy conscription, such as conscripted soldier qualifications, ladyboy conscription adjustment, and volunteer system soldiers.
