Abstract:
This research consists of two purposes including surveying an implementation of preventing and solving pregnancy for adolescent employees of business establishments in Chonburi Province and studying obstacles and contributing factors of the implementation. The research employs the mixed methodology composing of the quantitative data from a personal and business establishment questionnaire and the qualitative data from personal interviews. Fourteen informants interviewed in July 2021 are owners of the food and beverage service businesses in Muang District, Chonburi Province. The results find that most informants are women and owners of the business opening from one to 10 years and employing from 6 to 10 persons both women and men. The informants indicate that they provide and do not provide suggestions and assistance on family planning and pregnancy and agree and do not agree on their roles on the implementation of preventing and solving pregnancy for adolescent employees. For the obstacles, the results indicate that the business owners do not know that the Ministerial Regulations on Business Establishment Category and an Implementation of Preventing and Solving Pregnancy for Adolescent Employees of Business Establishments B.E. 2561 and mention the self-confidence of the teenagers. Furthermore, the informants agree that they can follow the Ministerial Regulations.
