Abstract:
This research aimed to: 1) develop project-based and research-based learning model and 2) explore the possibility of project-based and project-based learning model. Two phases of the study comprised phase 1: learning model formulation and phase 2: feasibility study of the learning model. Samples in the experiment were 25 grade 10 students from Takropittaya School of the Nakhonsawan Primary Educational Service Area Office 3. The sample was selected by purposive sampling. Research findings indicated that: 1. Project-based and research-based learning model consisted of 3 phases of learning process. Phase 1 comprised blueprint development of science project. It incorporated six stages: 1.1 raising the interest, 1.2 reviewing the experience, 1.3 identifying the problem, 1.4 selecting and planning for the solution, 1.5 outlining the plan, and 1.6 proposing (the jointed learning research approach). Phase 2 involved project implementation, and phase 3 engaged result presentation. The learning model was consistent with all components with an average between of 0.67-1.00 according to the expert’s opinion. 2. Students who enrolled in the project-based and research-based learning model achieved the required competence on science project implementation (60 percent).
