Abstract:
King Rama VI was graciously commissioned to cultivate the children of his reign to grow up as a good citizen, had patriotism, held on to Buddhism, and loyalty to the king to develop His people into good citizens, Patriots loyal to the King, and held on to be Thai. He used the education system as a tool to develop juveniles into the system. He cultivated the values and ethics to come up with juveniles by speeches, fiction, and poetry as a meaning to practice juveniles and addition to the Scouting and Sports Activities in schools. The study indicated that the Royal Initiative of King Rama VI about Cultivating good moral traits citizenship to two groups were “Dek-Luang” and “Dek-Raj”. Both groups were cultivated differently. Dek-Luang was trained to be leaders and a gentleman. Dek-Raj aims to grow children into good citizens, had united love and sacrifice for the group. However, these two groups were cultivated in the same way to show a harmonious love to every ethnic group, Who was consistent with his nationalist policies.
