Abstract:
Ja-Khay is the musical instruments that found records in Ayutthaya period. The instrument is presumed Originating in northern India and was spread into Mon, Burmese, Khmer, and Thai Culture. Some Mon and Khmer ethnics group played a musical instrument shaped like Ja-Khay that represented the conjunct of music culture. In Thailand - the reign of King Rama VI, Thai musical instruments were practical played in during this period and therefore case of study - nine Thais Ja-Khay Craftsmen created Ja-Khay as traditional music which have the concordance of structure, shape, ratio, and materials. Moreover, each craftsmen have own identity to create traditional music is formality, tools and appliances, believes, marketing of instrument, and setting of tones. The current prototype of Ja-Khay master gain knowledge and creation skills are from Duriyabhan music store and therefrom it spreads all around country because of musician and musical education influences to set quality standards and identity of traditional music. The Mathematics proportions base of the invention constitutes an identity to context of Traditional music succession.
