Abstract:
This research aims to study 1) the changes of land use along Saen Saeb canal in 2538 B.E. and 2557 B.E. 2) To quantify water pollution caused by land use. 3) To identify the impact area from water pollution along Saen Saeb. By using aerial photographs of 2538 B.E. and satellite image provided by Google Earth 2557 B.E. associated with visual interpretation technique to classified land use. Next, the water pollution according to land use types are analyzed based on the classified land use information and water pollution information. Finally, the analyzed information be identify into districts boundary in order to clarify the authority control. The result shows the land use changed from 2538 B.E. to 2557 B.E.; abandoned area changes to residence, residence changes to service function. It is obviously disclose the direct affect of land use change on water pollution which represented by an evident as the highest impact area in 2538 B.E. is Ratchathewi district with 30.10% sewerage in contrast the highest impact area in 2557 B.E. is pom Prap Sattru Phai district sewerage.
