Abstract:
The aim of this study is to identify factors which cause the spatial diffusion of Durian Seed Borer (Mudaria luteileprosa Hollway) in Chantaburi by climatic factors such as an average of rainfall, temperature, and humidity from 2003 to 2012 throughout the comparison to the three factors and outbreaks of the Durian Seed Borer. Moreover, this study applies a geographic information system (GIS) to analyze areas at risk. The result can be discovered that those three factors from March to July are consistent with the disffusion period. The risk areas from the Durian Seed Borer durian analyzed by GIS are Khao Kitchchakut District, Kaeng hang Maeo District, and Makham District, respectively.
