Abstract:
The objectives of this research were to study health tourism behaviors in Bangkok Public Park and the development guideline of Bangkok Public Park to promote health tourism. The samples were 400 Thai tourist respondents who visited Bangkok Public Park. A questionnaire was used as a survey tool and data were analyzed statistically using frequency, percentage, mean (x̅) and standard deviation (S.D.).
The results were as followed;
1. The opinion of respondents on development guideline of small public park in Bangkok to promote health tourism were ranked at moderate level of aspects namely facilities (x̅= 3.16, S.D. = 0.598) and safety (x̅= 3.16, S.D. = 0.740) respectively
2. The opinion of respondents on development guideline of medium public park in Bangkok to promote health tourism were ranked at high level of aspects namely health tourism promotion (x̅= 3.86, S.D. = 0.523) and facilities (x̅= 3.60, S.D. = 0.543) respectively
3. The opinion of respondents on development guideline of large Public Park in Bangkok to promote health tourism were ranked at high level of all aspects namely Health tourism Promotion (x̅= 3.98, S.D. = 0.580), Facilities (x̅= 3.71, S.D. = 0.560) and Safety (x̅= 3.56, S.D. = 0.657) respectively
