Abstract:
The objectives of this research were; to study the potentiality of Bangkok Metropolis for incentive tourist capacity, to study the incentive tourism model in Bangkok to serve the demand of Thai Incentive tourists and to develop a potentiality guideline of Bangkok’s attractions for supporting incentive tourists. The samples were 400 Thai Incentive tourists. The questionnaire was used as a tool and data were analyzed statistically in terms of frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation. 1. The majority of respondents were female whose age between 20 - 30 years old. They were company employee who graduated bachelor's degree with their income between 10,001-20,000 baht per month. They were traveled to Bangkok more than 5 times, their main destination was the temple of the Emerald Buddha. The obstacles during their travel was the accessibility to the attractions. Type of accommodation was moderate class, popular activity was shopping, and suitable time to travel in Bangkok were October until December.
2. Opinions of respondents about tourism elements were analyzed statistically in terms of mean and standard deviation as following; Attraction (x̅ = 3.91, S.D. = 0.54), Accommodation, (x̅ = 3.71, S.D. = 0.65), Activity (x̅ = 3.68, S.D. = 0.98), Amenity (x̅ = 3.59, S.D. = 0.68), Accessibility (x̅ = 3.41, S.D. = 0.80). The factors of tourism potential could be improve were Activity (x̅ = 3.68, S.D. = 0.87), Accessibility (x̅ = 3.66, S.D. = 0.94), Attraction (x̅ = 3.63, S.D. = 0.74), Amenity (x̅ = 3.50, S.D. = 0.84), and Accommodation (x̅ = 3.48, S.D. = 0.96)
