Abstract:
This article is a part of a research in the Cross-Cultural Marriage of Thai aristocrats: The Case of
Prince Chakrabongse Bhuvanatha. The aim is to study the factors that lead the spouses of Prince
Chakrabongse Bhuvanatha to marry Catherine, and to study the influence of Prince Chakrabongse
Bhuvanatha's Cross-Cultural Marriage with other Thai aristocrats (during 1906-1920) because Prince
Chakrabongse Bhuvanatha was the first of all Thai aristocrats who have married between different
cultures. The results of the study showed that there is more freedom in life in Russia than in Siam, and
the attitude of Prince Chakrabongse Bhuvanatha was uncomfortable due to the fact that he had to bear
