Abstract:
The purpose of this research was to study the factors influencing the decision to study the
graduate level at the Faculty of Business Administration for Society, Srinakharinwirot University. Research
samples consisted of 400 4th year undergraduate and graduate students of the faculty. Questionnaires
were used as data collection tools. Research findings showed that
Most respondents’ overall opinions toward factors affecting the decision to study at the graduate
level included finance, family, society, and institution were at agree levels. In addition, they showed
moderate levels of interests in studying graduate level and also tendencies to suggest others in studying
graduate level. Besides, they highly expected to earn more income after completing the graduate level.
At statistical significance at the level of 0.01, students with different areas of studies pursued their
higher education in overall aspects, with interests in studying graduate level and suggesting others to study the graduate level at statistical significance at the level of 0.01. Moreover factors affecting social
decisions were found to be positively correlated with graduate studies in general, as well as the
recommendation to study at graduate level.
