Abstract:
This research aims to enhance writing skills and speaking skills using constructivism a case study
of Mattayomsuksa 3 students Srinakharinwirot University Prasarnmit Demonstration School ( Secondary)
in order to reach 80/ 80 standard to compare the results of speaking skills and writing skills learning
activities of Matthayomsuksa 3 students using constructivism by pre-test and post-test scores and to study
the satisfaction of students toward learning activities using constructivism. The sample, derived from
purposive sampling, was a class with 28 Mattayomsuksa 3 room 2 students in Srinakarinwirot University
Prasarnmit Demonstration School (Secondary), first semester, 2019 academic year. The instruments are 6
Thai writing skills and speaking skills lesson plans of Mattayomsuksa 3 using constructivism (2) 60- itemmultiple-
choice achievement test of writing skills and speaking skills satisfaction questionnaires
of students toward learning activities using constructivism. The data were analyzed by means and
percentage for finding the effectiveness of the learning activities using constructivism to enhance writing
skills and speaking skills, t-test dependent for comparing the learning achievement to enhance writing
skills and speaking skills of Mattayomsuksa 3 students using constructivism between pre-test and post-test
descriptive statistics and standard deviation for satisfaction questionnaires.
The result indicated that the effectiveness of learning activities to enhance writing skills and
speaking skills of Matayomsuksa 3 students using constructivism was 53. 81 and 86. 07 which was not
in accordance with 80/ 80 standard. The result of pre-test and post- test showed that post-test scores
were higher than pre-test scores significantly at the level .05 and students’ overall satisfaction of Thai
learning activities using constructivism to enhance writing skills and speaking skills was high.
