Abstract:
The propose of this project is for improve and finding the performance of the variable angle solar hot water machine. This system is use energy from solar for heating water and feed to resident building, hotel, hospital or other place. Solar hot water is not need to other energy except solar energy so cost of system is cheaper than electrical hot water and maintenance cost is not high. Testing performance is varying by setting degree. 4 position the set to test it 5 10 15 and 20 degree. Capacity of tank is 50 lites. Area of collector is 1 X 40 m. Collector and tube is made from copper and cover with flat black color. Water can flow insystem by thermosyphon. Period of collect data is 16 days with 4 days per each angle. Record temperature at every 15 minute from 9:00 - 17:00. From experiment the angle 10 and 15 is give a high performance but it depend on solar radiation
