Abstract:
In this engineering, the heat transfer in spiral coil heat exchanger wasdesigned and constructed. The test channel made of zinc, with inside diameter and length of 30,1100 cm respectively. The test section have inside diameter of 9.525 mm, 6 number of coil turn and 9 level .The experimental were conducted a various water and air flow rate, water and air temperature The results from experimental show that the water air flow rate, water and air temperature were effected to the heat transfer rate of coil unit . Furthermore, the coilcharacteristics ; number of coil turn, curvature of coil were have been effected to heat transfer too.
