Abstract:
This engineering project described velocity measurement that distributed in the cross-sectional area of circular and angular pipes by pitot-tube meter. The result is shown at manomiter that have scale for water level measurement. The test used Pitot-tube at many postions along cross-sectional area by sliding down 2.5 m. eiter circular and angular pipes. The test used flow rete 1.2, 1.4, 1.6, 1.8 and 2.0 litres per minute. The result of velocity measurement from Pitot-tube in the form of head seen that the outcome velocity profile characteristic is resembled but the miximum errors of circular pipe is 44 percen and angular pipe is 80 percen at the center postion.
