Abstract:
The aims of this research is to study the effects of dianhydride contents on mechanical properties of dianhydride-modified polybenzoxazine copolymers prepared by benzoxazine resin with 3,3',4,4' -Benzophenonetetracarboxylic dianhydride (BTDA). The BA-35x/BTDA copolymers ranging from 1.5:1, 2:1, 3:1 and 4:1 mol ratios. The experiment results shown that the tensile modulus of the copolymers are 0.70x0.23, 1.97x0.81, 1.37±0.85 and 1.50x0.78 GPa, respectively and tensile strength of the copolymers are 5.22±1.45, 8.30±2.69, 7.42±3.62 and 7.53±3.04 MPa, respectively. The BA-35x/BTDA copolymers at 2:1 mol ratio displays the highest tensile properties.
