Abstract:
The objective of this project is a studying the performance of Savonius Rotor Using Swing Blade which is designed to change number of blade,2 and 3 blades. The testing wind rotor models in a wind tunnel to find performance ofwind rotor. From testing of Savonius Rotor Using 2 Swinging Blades, the maximum power
coefficient is 0.032 at wind speed 8 m/s and tip speed ratio of 0.686 and Savonius Rotor Using 3 Swinging Blades, the maximum power coefficient is 0.038 at wind speed 8 m/s and tip speedratio of 0.558.
