Abstract:
This research aimed to study the motivations and behaviors of Thai tourists traveling to Ecotourism Camping in Nakhon Nayok province. The study was quantitative research that used convenience sampling methods, with samples of 385 Thai tourists aged 18 years and over. In this research, questionnaires are used as a data collection tool, and statistical data calculated using One-Way ANOVA. The results were as follows:
The majority of Thai tourists who visited Ecotourism Camping in Nakhon Nayok province were women. They ranged in age from 18 to 30, were students, single, had a bachelor's degree or higher, and had an average monthly income of less than 15,000 baht. Traveling to sightsee the beautiful scenery motivates tourists to participate in ecotourism camping activities in Nakhon Nayok Province, and respondents get the information through social media. The purpose of visiting Nakhon Nayok is to rest and relax with family. Physical motivation (𝐗̅ = 4.30) was the highest level of motivation among Thai tourists visiting Ecotourism Camping in Nakhon Nayok province, then motivation at a high level, followed by cultural motivation (𝐗̅= 4.20), interpersonal motivation (𝐗̅= 3.90), and status and reputation motivation (𝐗̅= 3.85). The comparison of tourist motivations between demographics revealed no statistically significant differences at the .05 level. However, when considering sub-tourism motivations in each section, the results showed that gender, career, and status had significant differences at the .05 level.
