Abstract:
This project present controlling medical image system in operating room by use only a hand to work. To decrease contaminating problem from touching computers and contaminate to patient. This project has 2 proposed methods. The proposed methods has 5 steps 1) data acquisition from Leap Motion 2) visualization with color map 3) close and open hand classification 4) hand gesture recognition and 5) command interpretation. This program has 5 commands on program screen - select, searching left image, searching right image, increase brightness, and decrease brightness and 4 commands
in button - zoom in, zoom out, clockwise rotation, and counterclockwise rotation. All commands are cover commands from doctors. The result is shown by accuracy rate average, the result of first proposed method is 89.44%, and the result of first proposed method is 95.83%.
