Abstract:
The aims of this engineering project were studied the effect of pH, concentration of sodium chloride, initial concentration of dye, surface area of electrode and electrical voltage on the removal of reactive red dye 3 when the graphite was used as electrode. The experiment results shown that the decrease of pH and initial dye concentration will increase pseudo first order reaction rate constant and removal efficiency of dye whereas the increase of the concentration of sodium chloride, surface area of electrode and electrical voltage will increase the pseudo first order reaction rate constant and removal efficiency of dye.
