โครงงานวิศวกรรมนี้ เป็นการออกแบบสายอากาศหลายย่านความถี่โดยใช้ ตัวสะท้อนแบบวงแหวนแยกแบบสี่เหลี่ยม สำหรับแอพพลิเคชั่นในการสื่อสารไร้สายยุคที่ 5 นอกจากนี้ สายอากาศยังสามารถสวิตช์ลำคลื่นได้ 2 ทิศทาง โดยใช้สายอากาศเพียงต้นเดียว การสวิตช์ลำคลื่นทำได้โดยการลัดวงจรที่ขอบของสายอากาศแต่ละด้านทั้งหมด 4 จุด ทำให้สายอากาศสามารถสวิตช์ลำคลื่นได้ในทิศทาง 29, 211 องศา และ 136, 328 องศา สำหรับการสวิตช์ลำคลื่นกรณีที่ทำการลัดวงจรที่มุมทแยงฝั่งซ้ายและ มุมทแยงฝั่งขวา ตามลำดับ การวางตัวขององค์ประกอบที่มีลักษณะตรงกันข้ามทำให้สามารถทำงานได้ 3 ย่านความถี่ คือ 8.898, 14.497 และ 14.898 กิกะเฮิรตซ์ เมื่อลัดวงจรของสายอากาศทำให้สายอากาศทำงานได้ 9 ย่านความถี่ คือ 7.071, 9.006, 9.321, 9.906, 10.428, 10.718, 12.967, 13.057 และ 14.469 กิกะเฮิรตซ์ อัตราการขยายสูงสุดของสายอากาศ คือ 6.110 เดซิเบล โดยข้อดีของสายอากาศคือสายอากาศมีน้ำหนักเบา ขนาดกระทัดรัด มีโครงสร้างไม่ซับซ้อน ง่ายต่อการสวิตช์ลำคลื่น และต้นทุนในการผลิตต่ำ โดยสายอากาศในโครงงานนี้ถูกจำลองแบบโดยใช้ชุดซอฟต์แวร์จำลอง CST Microwave Studio
This project presents a designed of novel multiband square split-ring resonator that can be applied in 5G applications. Moreover, main beam direction of the proposed antenna can be switched into two directions using only single element of square split ring resonator patch antenna by shorted circuit at 4 points of different edges. There are two different directions, 29/211 degree and 136/328 degree in case of a shorted circuit at the left diagonal edges and right diagonal edges, respectively. The antenna without shorted circuit can operate in three frequencies such as, 8.898, 14.497, 14.898 GHz. Also, the antenna with shorted circuit can operate in nine frequencies, such as 7.071, 9.006, 9.321, 9.906, 10.428, 10.718, 12.967, 13.057 and 14.469 GHz. The maximum gain of the proposed antenna is 6.110 dBi. The proposed antenna has small in size, simple structure, low complex to beam switching and low cost manufactured.
