Abstract:
This study aimed to investigate factors contributing to the implementation of
communities’ sustainable academic service projects of the Central Library, Srinakharinwirot
University through 6 project results’ synthesis as (1) Follow-up Study of the Central Region’s
Academic Service, (2) Follow-up Study of the Eastern Region’s Academic Service, (3) Followup Study of the Southern Region’s Academic Service, (4) Follow-up study of the Northern
Region’s Academic Service, (5) Communities’ Sustainable Academic Service Project: 1

and (6) ) Communities’ Sustainable Academic Service Project: 2nd
phage. The researcher
gathered data in recording form and then summarized the results of synthesis.
The results of the study revealed that factors contributing to the implementation of
communities’ sustainable academic service projects contains 3 factors as: (1) community need
survey, it can initiate by field trip study, and community collaboration in order to get information
for project implementation according to living condition, and life style resulting to better life in
community circumstance as well as quality of life’s development and people in the community
can utilize knowledge for community development, (2) community’s readiness, this is related to
leader, staff, and people in the community as the main factor contributing continuous project as
well as resources in the community, and (3) establishment of academic service platform, this
can be perform through knowledge sharing by workshop training focusing on community –
based content which can be accomplish and utilize as model for sustainable academic service
project of the Central Library.
