This paper is proposed the saving energy of handover management in ubiquitous wireless networks. The received signal strength indicator and mobile speed of the current cell and neighboring cells are introduced to consider the energy management process. In additional, the real time and non-real time applications which users are demanded in the decision-making process for energy management. The Macrocell and femtocells are cooperated in the seamless wireless networks also known as the heterogenous networks. The performance of the proposed approach is analyzed in terms of the number of handovers, the number of blocked calls, the number of dropped calls, the average throughput, and the energy consumption in the simulation results. In the simulation outcomes, the proposed algorithm can decrease the number of handovers, the number of blocked calls, and the number of dropped calls around 20 percentages compared with the other schemes. We also illustrate that the proposed scheme outperforms the conventional methods in the energy consumption more than 25 percentages in the similar way as the throughput. © 2023 IEEE.
