dc.description.abstractThe pair breaking effect in the critical temperature has been considered. We showed that the decrease in the critical temperature can be described by an Abrikosov-Gorkov-like formula which contains the correction due to the van Hove density of states. © 1997 Plenum Publishing Corporation.
