dc.description.abstract | A solar tracking system is a machine for orienting a solar panel or a solar reflector or lens towards the sun. This paper presents a design of the controller system, which can automatically keep the tracking position for solar tracker system. The system with general model is simulated in MATLAB-Simulink with PID controller. Performance of the system is analyzed for PID controllers with different parameter. After simulation, actual PID controller is developed using C++ program and the solar tracking system is controlled by tuning the PID constants. © 2011 Pushpa Publishing House. | |
