dc.description.abstract | This paper compares the features of EndNote and Zotero in searching library catalogs via Z39.50 of academic libraries in Thailand and describes the situation on Z39.50 connection through EndNote and Zotero. It was found that 14 libraries (58.34%) could not be connected via Z39.50 connection because they suppose that Z39.50 configuration needs to be kept confidential for system security purpose, so they close the access port and protect it with firewall.
