Abstract: The purposes of this study were (1) to investigate students’ achievement goal orientations in learning, perceptions of learning environment in a general education classroom, approach to learn, and learning strategies for critical thinking and (2) to validate a causal model of students’ achievement goal orientations in learning, perceptions of learning environment in a general education classroom, and learning approaches affecting their learning strategies for critical thinking with empirical data. The study comprised 547 first year students who enrolled in a general education course at Srinakharinwirot University. Descriptive statistics was employed to describe the data. Structural equation modeling was used to test a hypothetical model. The results indicated that most students (1) perceived the general education classroom learning as a cooperative learning environment, (2) adopted a mastery achievement goal orientation towards learning, and(3) used a surface learning approach. They had relatively high scores for learning strategies indicating critical thinking. Furthermore, a hypothetical model modified on the basis of the observed data showed acceptable fit.The model showed that learning strategies for critical thinking were influenced by students’ achievement goal orientation, their perceptions of learning environment in a general education classroom, and their learning approach. Abstract: The aim of this study was to examine the results of applying gamification concept to the classroom. We measured teacher and student’s satisfaction, students’ liking to the subject, student motivation, and engagement in learning. The quasi-experimental nonequivalent-control group design was used with 78 students in the treatment groups and 112 students in the control groups. The results showed that 1) in the treatment groups, student’s liking for the subject and engagement in learning were higher than the control group with statistical significance of .01,2) students’ behaviors in the treatment group reported listening to lecture, focusing on the learning, engaged interaction with instructor,fun and excitement, which were higher than students in the control groupwith statistical significance of .01, and 3) teachers were satisfied with applying gamification concept to the classroom.2563-01-01T00:00:00Zแนวทางการจัดการเรียนรู้ด้วยแนวคิดเกมมิฟิเคชัน

Abstract: Gamification, the useof game design elements and game mechanics in non-game contexts, has become an increasingly popular approach to enhance end-user engagement. This concept has been used successfully in various businesses, including the educational area, and a lot of research is ongoing since it seeks to promote the quality of learners. Gamification is one of the learning approaches and techniques, which can increase motivation and engagement of students in learning. In an effort to better understand how the gamification approach can be harnessed effectively to this end, this paper explores how gamification can be applied to education to improvestudent’s motivation and engagement in learning. Abstract: The research’s purpose was to developing general education program for reinforcement undergraduate characteristics conform to Thailand Qualifications Framework for Higher Education 2009. It had 2 specific objectives: 1)to specify standard learning outcomes of general education program which conform to Thailand Qualifications Framework for Higher Education 2009 (undergraduate Level) 2)to develop the general education program of Srinakharinwirot University which curriculum development process comprised 4 steps: 1. to analize the fundamental data for specified standard learning outcomes of general education program, which studied documents and presented to Innovative Learning Center ‘s General Education Development Committee(20 members) in order to analyze content validity.2.todevelop the draft the general education program by studied documents and set workshop with the committee and Innovative Learning Center ‘s instructors (31 persons) 3. to validate the draft program by insideexperts from Innovative Learning Centerandother graduated faculties (69 persons)and 3 outside expertsfrom public andprivate universities and4. to evaluate thedraft programwhich composed of suitabilityand accordanceby 3insideexpertswho had both teaching experiences in general education and vocational education from the fields of health sciences, sciences and technology, social sciences and anthropology, collecting data by using2 choices questionnaires andevaluation results of the possibility for daily life and career of the general education program by 3 outside experts who were executive position in undergraduateuser organizations from the fields of health sciences, sciences and technology, social sciences and anthropology,collecting data by using5 rating scale questionnaire which Mean and Standard Deviation were used for data analysis.The research’s results divided by 2 specific objectives indicated that1) General education standard learning outcomes of Srinakharinwirot University which conform to Thailand Qualifications Framework for Higher Education2009 (undergraduate) had5 aspects:1. ethical and moral development:honest, good discipline, punctual, public mind, scarify, and realize value of art & culture 2.knowledge:fundamental knowledge of general education 3. cognitive skills: able to apply knowledge, systematic thinking & problem solving, assess situation based on knowledge, and creating innovation 4. interpersonal skills and responsibility: ability to work with others in both2562-01-01T00:00:00Z
